Vitamin C

This clinically proven, innovative oil-based soluble Vitamin C derivative effectively treats and protects the skin – gently!

Vitamin C is known for being unstable and can cause cellular damage if used at high levels.

However, Skinician’s Vitamin C Elixir uses Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate because it can be used at low levels avoiding irritation as it converts within the skin cell. That means it’s suitable for even sensitive skin and benefits all skin types thanks to its skin-protecting barrier.

Many Vitamin C serums use Ascorbic Acid (Acid (a pure form of Vitamin C that’s incredibly light sensitive and undergoes fast oxidation and a very unstable molecule), which often causes skin irritation like peeling, stinging and excessive dryness and isn’t suitable for sensitive skin.
