Candelilla Wax (a plant-based wax and a suitable vegan alternative to beeswax) hydrates dry skin to look smoother. High in fatty acid and resin, it's quick absorbing and very emollient, so ideal for soothing chapped lips! Candelilla Wax is also non-comedogenic, so it won't clog pores and contains Vitamin A, which promotes cell regeneration and protects against sunspots and ageing skin, and an excellent ingredient for the delicate skin on your lips. Candelilla is a wonderfully nourishing skin conditioner that hydrates dehydrated, scaly skin for a plumper, smoother and softer pout!
Beeswax helps create a protective layer on the skin and creates a creamy consistency - perfect for use in lip products to create a soft formulation that's easy to apply and comfortable to wear! As a natural humectant (meaning it attracts water), Beeswax locks in moisture to help keep skin plump and firm - ideal for maintaining full-looking lips! Thanks to its natural moisturising qualities, it also provides a natural remedy against dry, sore or chapped skin. Vitamin A helps lessen wrinkles and age spots while reconstructing damaged skin cells, making Beeswax an excellent ingredient for beautifying skin!
Kaolin is a naturally occurring soft clay that helps to cleanse and exfoliate dead skin cells. Kaolin is both purifying and detoxing, which helps skin stay cleansed, plus it's gentle and mild, making it the perfect ingredient for calming sensitive skin areas, such as lips. Kaolin also enables the lipstick to be absorbed quickly without oiliness by absorbing excess oils or sebum from the skin's surface while soothing irritation in the skin.
Castor Seed Oil feeds the skin with antioxidants which helps skin stay youthful for longer! It's also rich in ricinoleic acid (a known humectant), which prevents water loss through the outer layer of your skin to promote hydration - great for soothing and conditioning the delicate skin on the lips and leaving lips flake-free for the perfect statement lips.
Carnauba Wax is a hypoallergenic, water-repellent and very moisturising wax, perfect for giving lip products a smooth application and a beautiful glossy finish! The oil extracted from Carnauba Palm leaves dried into the wax and acts as a natural thickener without clogging pores and is excellent for the sensitive skin on the lips. Carnuba Wax softens lips and leaves them more voluminous and moisturised, perfect for giving lip products that smooth, satin-sheen natural finish.
