Glycerin helps combat signs of ageing and irritation, leaving skin feeling moisturised and hydrated. It's also an excellent humectant and emollient that keeps skin from drying out! Plus, it effectively hydrates skin and helps it hold on to moisture while also shielding it from environmental sources of irritation, thanks to its relatively low pH.
Chrysin is an excellent botanical anti-inflammatory that helps take down skin redness. It's also a conditioning ingredient with naturally occurring isoflavones extracted from plants (often from the blue passion flower)and often used to reduce inflammations and fight free radical damage. Research has shown that chrysin activates the enzyme that helps reduce dark circles (pigmented bilirubin and iron deposits underneath the skin). That's why chrysin is a great ingredient to combat puffiness and dark circles!
White Water Lily provides an anti-ageing effect and is known for its cell renewal boosting powers!
